Tariffs on Mexico and Canada, Medicaid cuts, and we’re barreling towards a recession. A huge part of Trump’s approval simply comes from people associating him with a good economy. I think Trump circa 2017 knew that. I think 2024 Trump is too old and stuck in a media bubble to get the message this time.
