Notes, the Millennial Big Chill, and the Great Obama Stimulus Hypothetical
The whole family is going to be in the City of Angels next week, so we’re throwing a Los Angeles Slow Boring Member Meetup on Wednesday, May 3 at 5:30 p.m. at Bonaventure Brewing Co. (404 S Figueroa Street). Just a casual meet and greet, but it’s been fun when we’ve done this in other cities.
We had a housing reform setback in Colorado this week, but there are good bills advancing in both Texas and California, so I’m feeling good. Homebuilder confidence also seems to have recovered from the interest rate hit. Meanwhile, global electric vehicle sales are up 35% this year and prices are falling. It seems like a public option is coming to Minnesota, and Alaska is going to ban partisan gerrymandering.
