We would like to get serious about making some Slow Boring merch, and as long as we’re doing that, we may rethink, refresh, or entirely replace the main Slow Boring logo.
For both those tasks we could use the help of a real designer — possibly you?
There are a lot of designers in the world, but we’d really like to work with someone who reads the site and is familiar with the brand. The scope of the job could vary according to your own interests and ideas, but broadly speaking we’d like a cool logo, some related designs to put on merchandise, and ideas about how to work visual cues from the logo into on-site graphics.
If you’re interested, please email kate@slowboring.com with “Slow Boring design” in the subject line. Let us know your rates and include links to any relevant portfolio work you’d like us to see. Also feel free to forward to friends or colleagues who might be good for this.
My skill set is ideally aligned with your client's vision. Instead of searching for my portfolio online, Matt can simply close his eyes and visualize all of the artwork I have produced. As a graphic designer, I am a fantastic choice!
Excited for a new look and new merch! Just as a heads up, I bought a T-shirt with the current SB logo the last time you did a merchandise round. I followed the washing instructions but the screen print was super cheap and came off almost immediately. I would happily pay a bit more for a better quality shirt or sweater. I have bought merchandise from other content creators from Cotton Bureau and that seems to last a really long time wash after wash. Thanks so much!
