We got a process question this week about cut-off times for question submission and whether we would ever return to a question from a previous mailbox.

The Slow Boring team usually reviews questions from the time the Mailbox goes out through Wednesday morning. After that, I’m generally working on answers. We won’t get back to previous Mailboxes to find questions, so if there’s something pressingly important to you and it’s mid-morning on Wednesday, you might want to wait for next week.

That said, I do read all the questions (even the ones I don’t answer), and they sometimes end up inspiring full columns. And if similar topics recur over multiple weeks from different people, that bolsters the case for answering them.
